Yep, I'm blogging about
Luxe Ribbons. Believe it or not, these are not a new release, they came out at the last show. I didn't think the pictures in the catalog & online quite did them justice, so today I set off to take "the ultimate" picture of our ribbons to show people just how very cool they are. They are perfect pantone matches to our papers and we have them made in the garment district in New York so they're top quality - you can incorporate them into any sewing or knitting project. They're true garment grade. They're fabulously bendy and great for book binding. Some are elegant, others just plain fun. We tried to stay as timeless as possible with the designs so they can always look fresh. All of them take ink really well. A lot of times we swipe an ink pad over the black and white patterns to create our own custom colors. The black shows through all the inks we've tried & it looks like it was made that way. We have two widths 3/8 in & 5/8 inch. They come on 20 yd spools and run around $1 per yard.
Have you seen or tried Luxe ribbons? I'm curious...if you they're new to you let me know what you think. I will give away a yard of each of all the Luxe ribbons {24 yards!} to someone who comments on this post with their opinion of them - have you seen them? have you tried them? does your LSS carry them?

I have never seen these ribbons and my LSS doesn't carry them. I love the look of them. The pink is just gorgeous. I can see where they'd make a wonderful embellishment on a page. I'd love to win these.

All I've ever seen or used is that nice little hunk that we got in our kits in your gorgeous make and take at CKU - Nashville. Been looking for it since, but I can't find it either! It's beautiful and I'm a complete ribbon junkie......... so I NEED it!!! :)
Yes Ihave seen them and touched them. A store around 2 hours away form me carries some of them. I bought some to take home and play with. You are right about the quality of the ribbon--- it is fabulous.
I didn't even know Luxe had ribbons, but they are georgeous. I'm totally a ribbon addict. Love them so much. My LSS does not carry them, but I wish they did.

This is the first time seeing the ribbons. I have a little collection of Luxe, since none of my LSS's around here carry it.
My LSS has them and I used them on a class that I taught. The class was a planner for 2008. Everybody loved the ribbon and it was so easy to use and laid down so nicely. You can visit

Wow! I have never seen these before and I "collect" and use my ribbon. They are beautiful and I love ribbon that has a good weight to it.
My LSS, MIcheals and Beverlys Do NOT have these but I sure wish they would.

I have seen them. I bought some at a LSS while I was out of town (in Houston) and they have been sitting in my stash waiting to be used on the right project. My LSS does not carry them or any other Luxe Products.

I ordered one color, online, but can't find the others. I knew they existed because I saw them at the warehouse when I picked up an order! I wanted to grab a roll of each and RUN!! LOL

I hae never used Luxe ribbons I have seen them online, I love the colors and I think that they would be a great addition to any paper project. If my girls got a hold on them they would end up as hair ribbons or made into headbands. I really love the prints also

surprisingly, as much of a ribbon collector as i am, i haven't seen the luxe line in my LSS or online. but i love, love, LOVE them! wouldn't mind having these in my collection.

Sadly, I don't have a lot of Luxe options around here, although it's one brand I have wanted to look at in real life for a LONG time. The pictures of the ribbons are GORGEOUS. And I need more ribbon like I need another hole in my head, but it's too good to pass up! Even if I don't win, which I probably won't as I'm just not lucky like that, I'll have to make a bigger effort to find this product online!

Sweet! These are super pretty - much better than the selection at Wal-Mart, which is the only place I have to buy ribbon. LOVE the idea of inking them to change the colors.

I have never seen Luxe ribbon but I would love to get my hands on some. My LSS does cary Luxe paper so I will check into this and see if she can get some ordered. If I won I could actually show her the"real thing" - wink, wink!

Had I known these existed I would already own all 24 of them! I have never seen them- and the first place I look when I go to my LSS is the ribbon section! I am lucky enough to live near 4 SS and have not seen these at any of them. I use ribbon on 90% of my pages and own over 400 different ribbons (I may have a problem.) but think these are some of the most stunning ribbons I have seen. The colors are sumptuous, the texture looks amazing, and who can resist swirlys? I would say these ribbons are lickable. (Yes, I said lickable. And I meant it.)
I've never tried them or seen them...I will start looking for them at my LSS...they are beautiful!

OMGosh! Gorgeous!!! I love ribbon anyway. I haven't ever seen these IRL, I don't have a LSS, or a Big Box for that matter, so all of my shopping comes from online, and I have a few places where I mostly order from. I love your photos of the ribbons, If I had my very own scraproom, that would be too cool blown up and framed. Really timeless as you were saying. It is also really awesome that you can ink them, that versatility is great. Well thanks for the link on 2Peas, I like the rest of your blog too, those clementines are my absolute favorite too!

Our scrapbook store closed:( I have never seen these before. They are very pretty. I travel about 30 miles now to michaels or craft warehouse to buy my ribbon. I use to be in a ribbon club and the vendor sent a mixed package every month and then charged our card. It was a ton of fun, I'm a ribbon hoarder.

I have to agree with alot of the other posters - I didn't know that Luxe carried ribbons. Alot of the stores around here don't carry Luxe but I was super impressed with the company when I met the girls at CKU in Detroit. Would love to see more from this company around here.

I like the ribbons - i must admit that I have never seen them, my LSS definitely doesn't stock them and I don't recall seeing them online here in Oz either.

I have actually never seen Luxe poducts until your ad your Jotter in Memory Makers. I was so impressed by there prices I checked out your website. I am now in love with Luxe. I love your paper, rub ons, and your ribbon. I called yesterday and found out a store near me carries the Luxe product. I am tottaly on a mession now to collect all things Luxe. I can't wait to get creative with Luxe. I can't wait to add Luxe ribbion to ever going collection of beautiful ribbion. Thank you.
