Happy Independence Day!!!

To celebrate Independence Day, I put together a red, white & blue RAK for a random poster on this thread. (includes: 10 sheets of red & Blue Simply Luxe, 2 sheets of Color Me...Strarstruck, 2 12 x 12 sheets of alpha stickers, 1 red & 1 blue sheet of die-cut journaling jotters, 1 set of red label stickers, 1 white dot border rub, 1 white alpha rub & 1 set of blue epoxy stickers) All you have to do is hop on and post your name, location & what you are doing for the weekend. I will name a winner Monday morning. Good luck & have a fun & safe 4th!

I'm going to finish landscaping my yard...I've been doing it for the past 6 weeks in my spare time. Then I plan on cooking out and enjoying my beautiful yard work! Then I hope to do a little bit of scrapbooking since I haven't been able to do much with all the yard work.

Hi Emily, have a happy and safe 4th!
Because of the poor air quality and fire risk here in California (I am in Central Valley) we will forego the fireworks this year. Instead, I will work on my "In Memory Of" pages featuring my favorite aunt who passed away in Dec. 07.
Hope everyone enjoys the 3 day weekend. And by the way, thanks Emily for doing the RAK. These things are always exciting!!

Happy 4th! We're being lazy and sleeping in - then maybe some yard work...Sunday is family reunion day and I'm making a quick and easy jambalya [Desperation Dinners] and my 'signature' [ha] flag pies: blueberry and cherry with the crust laid out like stripes on the flag. I may also take a red - white - blue trifle that's pretty easy to make. Hope you have a good one - Judy in Huntsville
